In the Name of God Amen I Rachel Greenfield of the Parish of Nailsea in the county of Somerset do this day the 17th of October in the Year of our Lord 1763 make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following Imprimis I Give and bequeath to my loving sisters Sarah Greenfield and Betty Greenfield after the death of my loving ffather Hugh Greenfield my Estate in Sedland (?) in the Parish of Thornbury in the County of Gloucester to them their Heirs and Assigns for ever one Moiety or half Part to my Sister Sarah Greenfield and the other Moiety or half Part to my Sister Betty Greenfield but if it shall happen that either of the above named Persons die without Child or Children my desire is that the survivor shall enjoy the whole estate to her own Proper use Item I Give and bequeath to my loving ffather Hugh Greenfield my estate at Olvson in the County of Gloucester let at four Pounds per Annum Clear of all manner of Taxes now in the Occupation of Joseph Spurges during my said ffather’s natural life and after his decease I give the said Estate to my loving ffriend Samuel Nash of fflax Burton in the County of Somerset Item I Give and bequeath to my loving Cousin Rachel Taner and Ann Taner the sum of thirty pounds to be equally divided between them but if either of my said Kinswomen should happen to die my Will is that the survivor of them shall enjoy the said sum of thirty pound Item I Give and bequeath to my loving Brother Edward Greenfield Sarah Greenfield and Betty Greenfield twenty half Crowns to be equally divided between them Item I give to Hannah Pride my ffather’s Servant three half crowns Lastly I Constitute and appoint my loving ffather Hugh Greenfield my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and do appoint and require my above named Executor to Pay all the Legacies contained in my above Will in six Months after my decease As Witness my hand and Seal Rachel Greenfield signed sealed Published and declared in the presence of us Mary Huscombe.
