This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Cox of Nailsea in the County of Somerset Spinster I give and bequeath to my niece Maria Cox daughter of my brother Mr John Cox of South Brent in the said County of Somerset for her own use and benefit my tent bedstead and the border bed and my mahogany Chest of Drawers all the rest residue and remainder of my household goods and furniture and also all my money and securities for money property and effects whatsoever and wheresoever (subject to the Payment of my just debts funeral expences and the costs and charges of Proving this my will) I give and bequeath the same unto and equally to be divided between and amongst my said brother John Cox and his six children namely William Cox Charles Cox George Cox Hester Cox the said Maria Cox and Jane Cox share and share alike and I declare that neither of them my Executor or Executrix hereinafter named shall be answerable for the other of them or for the acts or deeds or defaults of the other of them nor for involuntary losses nor for money received under receipts in which they shall join only for conformity and that they shall and may reimburse themselves and each other out of any trust monies that come into their hands by virtue of these presents all costs and expences to be incurred in the execution of the trusts aforesaid or in any wise in relation thereunto and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Isaac White of Nailsea aforesaid Gentleman and my said niece Maria Cox Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke and make void all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this alone to be my last will and testament In Witness whereof to this my last will and testament written and contained in two sheets of Paper to the first sheet thereof set my hand and to this second and last sheet thereof set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three
